Chris and Gabby continue to be sponsored by Yonex, having worked with the sports equipment brand for over a decade. Yonex originally began their sponsorship of Gabby and Chris when both players competed at junior level, and have since appointed the players as the first UK Ambassadors for Yonex’s ‘Legends’ Vision’ initiative which aims to promote the sport of badminton and inspire the next generation of badminton stars. The brand has a long association with the sport of badminton, and their partnership with the world’s fifth best Mixed Doubles pair has helped to consolidate Yonex’s position as the premium brand within British badminton. Gabby and Chris will wear Yonex apparel, footwear and accessories during training and competitions.
Chris and Gabby have been ambassadors for Concern Worldwide since August 2017. The partnership sees the Adcocks support the international humanitarian organisation which is dedicated to tackling poverty and suffering in 26 of the world’s poorest countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Caribbean. Last year the charity reached over 22 million people. The Adcocks are deeply committed to supporting the aims of Concern Worldwide, and will lend their voice to calling for greater action to help build a brighter and better future for individuals, their families, and their communities..
Badminton England are the governing body of the sport in England and are responsible for growing the game at all levels. Having supported the Adcocks throughout their junior careers, Badminton England continues to support Chris and Gabby on the international stage through its World Class Performance Programme. The support, both financial and material, enables the Adcocks to train in the best possible environment at the National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes, to compete internationally, and receive the very best sports science and sports medicine support in order for them to reach their potential.
